The MADRE team consisted of three lawyers, members from the organization’s Legal Advocacy arm. J.M. Kirby and Lisa Davis were visiting from New York; a third lawyer practices in Erbil. The two teams discussed common interests such as the importance of education and higher education, as well as possible collaboration in the future.
