Description: Summer crops survey is an annual survey published by the Ministry of Planning/ Kurdistan Region Statistics Office/ Agriculture Department. The report is divided into two parts. The first part presents the methodology of conducting a survey to gather data about agriculture and analyzing these data. Whereas, the second part summarizes the results of the survey. These results include information about the number of villages and farmers, summer crop products and yields, cultivated land for summer crops, the level of production and land cultivated in Kurdistan Region, summer products cost, water sources, transportation cost and the production price at the farm gate. Also, the end of the report includes data comparison between agriculture planting of the year 2012 and 2013.
