Dr. Yaseen Ahmed Hamaamin received his BSc degree in Civil engineering from Mosul University in 1990. He obtained his MSc in Hydraulic Engineering from University of Sulaimani in 2014. Lastly, he received his PhD in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering from Michigan State University, USA in 2003.
He has an extensive experience as a civil engineer, university teacher and academic researcher. He has about 20 years of teaching experience in public and private universities. He is a member of American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), since 2010.
Dr. Hamaamin interests include civil and environmental engineering area of proficiency. His proficiency and researches focus on civil and environmental engineering topics including but not limited environmental protection, watershed management and water resources modeling and application of soft computing and statistical methods in water resources management.
