Yalda Razmahang has served since 2018 as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Social Science department at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani; where she teaches classes in Art History and World Civilization. She recently completed her second MA in Archaeology and History from Lyon 2 University, where she digitized ancient sculptures in order to study prehistoric gender relations in the Near East. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Archaeology at Lyon 2. Her dissertation will assess the cultural heritage of the World Heritage site of Ashur after ISIS. She is also a member of ASOR ( American School of Oriental Research).
