American University of Beirut

Dr. Joseph Bahout is the Director of the Issam Fares Institute at the American University of Beirut. Bahout has a degree in Economics from the American University of Beirut (AUB), before studying International Relations at Sciences Po Paris and then acquiring a PhD in Political Science at the same institution. He has taught at Université Saint-Joseph in Beirut (1993-2004), and was a researcher  (Beirut, 1993-2000).
