For Community Partners: There are many ways for companies and organizations to connect with Career Services, recruit AUIS students and support AUIS's mission.

Recruitment

If you have an open position that you need to fill, please send a job description to Career Services. We will be happy to post it on the AUIS Job Board, and advertise it to our students and alumni. If you are hiring for a large number of entry-level positions, we are also happy to arrange recruitment day events on the AUIS campus, where you can interview many pre-screened candidates at once.

Internships

AUIS is happy to work with companies and organizations who would like to host internships for our students. Hosting an internship is a great way to train and assess potential full-time staff, as well as a great way to give back to the community. If you would like to host an internship, please contact Career Services. We ask that you fill out an agreement form laying out the benefits and responsibilities of the intern, as well as the timeline for applications. Career Services will advertise the opportunity to students and collect applications for you to review. We can arrange internships either for the summer break or winter break.

Job Fair

Each April, AUIS hosts a Job Fair for an audience of its students and alumni. We welcome our community partners to exhibit at the event, and offer many opportunities for sponsorship. Registration for exhibitors usually opens in January.

Mentorship Program

In this annual nine-month program, our top students are matched with mentors from the local business community to benefit from their substantial experience and expertise. Through their mentors, students gain knowledge on how to succeed in their chosen field and advice on how to begin and advance their careers. We look for mentors, men and women, who have excelled in fields that AUIS students aspire to enter. Mentors in this program are leaders who want to build capacity in the future of their industry. Mentorship is an investment in the future of your business and your industry. By becoming a mentor, you will:

  • Gain exposure to the talent pool for the future of your field.
  • Expand your future network by developing a relationship with your mentee.
  • Develop your own leadership skills by building capacity in your mentor.
  • Gain new perspectives and insights on your profession.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please contact Director of Student Services at oliver.keels@auis.edu.krd.
