The Department of Engineering at the American University in Iraq, Sulaimani invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Energy Engineering.
The successful candidate for the position will have:
- A Ph.D. in energy engineering or a related field at the time of appointment.
- A track record of teaching, advising and research in the broad areas of engineering mechanics, manufacturing, thermal fluids, or materials.
- Demonstrated familiarity with CAD and MATLAB
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
Applicants who speak more than one language, and who have lived in more than one country, are preferred. The Department is also interested in applicants willing to participate in the development of new courses of study relevant to the region.
The Department of Engineering at AUIS offers undergraduate programs leading to Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical, Civil, Construction, and Energy Engineering.
