Aaron Bartnick joined IRIS as a fellow in March 2017, where he is focusing on bringing private sector technology and best practices to public institutions until August 2017. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer for The OpenGov Foundation, a Washington, DC-based startup that facilitates technology partnerships with governments around the world. Aaron has also served as a senior advisor and deputy campaign manager for Congressman Seth Moulton, a leading voice on American foreign policy in Iraq and the Middle East. He holds a BA with honors in history and political science from Brown University, and has lived and worked in 13 countries across South America, Europe, and Asia.
