Van den Toorn spoke on a panel entitled “International Perspectives” alongside Kent Hill, senior vice president of international programs for World Vision United States and the executive director of the Religious Freedom Institute, and Sherri Kraham Talabany, founding director of SEED Foundation which works with displaced Yezidis in Akre, Ninewa, moderated by Stephen Colecchi, Director of the Office of International Justice and Peace at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
