Stargazing with a Galileoscope

Monday, August 31, 2015 - 15:15

A new understanding of the heavens emerged when Galileo Galilei first looked through his telescope some 400 years ago. An event was organized at AUIS to re-create Galileo's experience of looking at the moon and stars using a replica of one of the telescopes that he used - a Galileoscope! The Galileoscopes were assembled together by faculty and students for stargazing on a clear night during Discovery Week.
